The rotating assembly is in a cartridge form and includes all moving parts together with the bearing housing.  The cartridge is held in place by 4No. bolts and can be removed and replaced in a few minutes without special tools or skills.  Due to the unique overhead vee belt design of our baseplates, the rotating assembly can also be removed without disconnecting the motor or pipework.

The front cover can be removed by simply undoing two or four handles (depending on model).  This allows easy access to the pump internals.  Check valves, impellers, and wear plates can all be replaced via this cover, and any blockages can quickly be removed.

The two vane impellers give excellent solid handling capability of up to 3".  Included in the solid handling capability specification is the internal re-circulation port.  This is very important on suction lift applications where solids are encountered.

The seal is a double floating self-aligning oil lubricated type with Tungsten Titanium Carbide stationary and rotating faces specifically designed for arduous abrasive duties.  Unlike many other pumps, the seal oil reservoir is separate to the bearing housing oil reservoir. On the Super T pumps the bearing housing is separated from the seal cavity by an atmospheric barrier. This safeguards the bearings in the event of a seal failure.
