April 2005 - Gorman-Rupp purchases the Wallwin range of pumps from Gilkes
|
|
As the UK agents for Gorman-Rupp, Hydromarque are pleased to announce that they are now the exclusive UK supplier of the range of products (including spare parts) previously known as Wallwin Pumps.
In April 2005 Gorman-Rupp acquired the Wallwin Pump range from Gilbert Gilkes and Gordon.
The most recent generation of Wallwin Pumps (submersible and dry well submersible) is now known as the Gorman-Rupp JW Series. It is intended that these already outstanding, robust pumps will be further developed by Gorman-Rupp using their ‘state of the art’ innovation to produce yet another world leading product.
Wallwin Pumps has been a prominent and reputable name in the industry since the early 1900’s although for a period between 1982 and 1998 they were known as Biwater Pumps.
Full support (including replacement pumps, spare parts supply and servicing) will continue for past generations and models of Wallwin Pumps and Biwater Pumps including the ‘conventional’ types often used in dry well installations.

November 2005 - Gorman-Rupp releases new V series pump
|
In November 2005, Gorman-Rupp released their latest edition to the already outstanding range of products. The Ultra V series range offers very high heads, flow rates and efficiencies, and all this combined with excellent solid handling capability and self priming performance.
For very extreme heads there is a 2 stage unit available called the Ultramate. The first stage is the standard Ultra V pump, the second stage sits directly on top the discharge port and enables the head to be doubled. Using this arrangement some pumps are able to generate up to 99m and yet still are capable of passing 3" solids throughout the entire pump.
